The MBSAQIP program is specifically designed to award accreditation to bariatric surgery centers in the U.S. that have completed a series of independent, voluntary and rigorous peer evaluations according to nationally-recognized bariatric standards. The program also focuses on ways to ensure bariatric surgery centers are committed to continuous improvement in quality standards.
